She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Brooks and Helen Geneva Randall Brooks; and her siblings, Virginia Mae Brooks Livesay, Barbara Elaine Brooks Favinger and James Earl Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Kenneth Brooks, Barry Alan Derrickson and Larry Vincent Derrickson; and her brother Emery Eugene Brooks. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
