She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Painter and Lorene Rae Painter; her brother Eddie Lee Painter; her husband Shannon Nelson Engle; and her daughter Lori Ann Engle.
She is survived by: her children, Garland Engle (Corina), Dennis Engle (Noelle), Bruce Engle (Kathy), Scott Engle (Pam), Sarah "Missy" Elliot (Dennis), Kevin Engle (Trudy) and Michael Engle (Tammy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
