She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shepard and Helen Mahler Shepard; her daughter Catherine M. "Catie" Cornell; and her brother John Shepard. She is survived by: her husband Michael Cornell; and her sons, Cole Cornell of Falling Waters, WV and Christopher Cornell (Kristin) of Martinsburg, WV..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home (310 S Fairfax Blvd, Ranson, WV 25438). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
