He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burrell Long and Mary Maxine White Long; his wife Janieve; his brothers-in-law, Bill Newman, Buddy White and Jack Woods; and his daughter-in-law Annette Long.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Long (George Hodges, Jr.), Bruce Long, Sr., Tom Long (Tina), Greg Long (Risa) and Jeff Long (Bunny); his siblings, Laverne Newman, Danny Long (Sylvia) and Tommy Long (Susie); and his sister-in-law Ella Mae Woods. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great -grandchildren.
