It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Carol Combs Basham of Jumping Branch, West Virginia, born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William Cecil Combs and Norma Ball Combs; her husband Donald R. Basham; and her siblings, Sharon Rose Combs, Johnny Combs, Mark Combs, Mary Combs Sisk, Jimmy Kemper Combs and Robert "Bob" Combs.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Basham Brogan (Kenny) and Donnie Basham (Toni); her grandchildren, Keilah Dewitt (Chris), Kanyon Brogan (MacKenzie) and Ashton Basham; her great grandchild Makynlee Moore; her siblings, Billy Combs, Nancy Cook (Ed), Norma Bibb, Judy Puckett (Jim), Donnie Combs, Dave Combs, Greg Combs (Vicki) and Scott Combs (Carla); and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Combs, Frances Kelly, Myrtle Basham, Wayne Sisk and Gary Basham. She is also survived by 36 nieces and nephews, 83 great nieces and nephews and 61 great great nieces and nephews.
