He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ezra and Anna King; his stepfather Lawrence Cooper; his nephew Marshall Stollings; his stepbrothers, Dee and Monty Cooper; and his cousin Gene Walker.

He is survived by: his mother Madeline Cooper; his wife Tammy; his children, Nathan (Samantha) and Courtney; his granddaughters, Saylor and Lynleigh; his siblings, Debbie Runyon (John) of Madison, Sheliah Cook (Bill) of Madison, Anita Bolyard of Madison and Aaron Cooper of Madison; his stepbrother Meredith Cooper of Florida; and also Mike. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed, with mask and social distancing required.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's memory to the Morrisvale Fire Department.
