He is survived by: his parents, James "PeeWee" and Joan Goode of Julian; his children, John Patrick Goode Jr. of Robinson and Lillian Messer (Trae) of Brinton; the mother of his children Ella Goode of Newport; his sister Joleen Goode of Tappahannock, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Joanetta Lesser, Big Ugly, Kacey Goode, Nikki Mitchell and Coles Pt.
