He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Arthur Bayes and Liza Jane Racer Bayes. He is survived by: his wife Deloris Ann Harless Bayes; his children, Nora Jane Bayes of Madison, WV and Alpha Charles Bayes of Julian, WV; and his granddaughters, Amber Nichole Bayes of Kennard, IN and Lydia Dawn Bayes of Hewett's Creek, WV..
