He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Lee Cole and Madgie F. Wimmer Cole; and his siblings, Girtrue Jackson, Hubert Cole, Robert D. Cole, Dennie Cole, Joyce Honaker and Lois Ann Houchins.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Honaker Cole of Jolo, WV; his children, Peggy Ann Cole of Jolo, WV, Linda Cole Adams (David) of Oakwood, VA, Pamela Cole Arrington (Richard) of Warrenton, VA and Joshua Douglas Cole (Michelle) of Kingsport, TN.; his sister Yuvon Mullins (Ray) of Richlands, VA; his sisters-in-law, Frances Wimmer and Nora Cole; his grandchildren, Tyler Adams, Paula, Riley Arrington, Alexandria, Lindsey Overfield, Anthony, Shannon Adams and Kaylee Reedy; his great grandchildren, Knox Adams and Jett Castle; and his nephew Hunter Bostic. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
