He is survived by: his parents, John McKinley Gibson and Retha Mae Poore Gibson of Jolo, WV.; his children, Carrie Miller of Grundy, VA, Katrina Lackey of War, WV and Noah Luther Gibson of Abingdon, VA; and his siblings, Barbara Lynn Lester of Bartley, WV, Doris Coleman of Jolo, WV and Johnny Ray Gibson of Jolo, WV.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
