He is survived by: his parents, Herbert McClain Payne of Jolo, WV and Alberta Viars Payne of Jolo, WV.; his children, Gabrielle McClanahan (Andrew) of Paynesville, WV and Jimmy Lee Drake Payne (Kayla) of Jolo, WV; his siblings, Debro Mae Street (Gary Lee Leasure) of Bradshaw, WV and David McClain Payne of Jolo, WV.; his grandchildren, Chassie Leigha Drake, Zoey Mae Drake, Avery Kate Drake, Jaxson McClanahan and Abel McClanahan; and his niece Kayla Marie Street (Robert Acosta).
