We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2021, at the age of 70, Calvin Franklin Sparks of Jolo, West Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verner Sparks and Elizabeth Rippeth Sparks; and his wife Brenda Sue Sparks. He is survived by: his children, Melissa "Missy" Green (David) of Jolo, WV and Marcus Sparks (Devin) of Roderfield, WV; his granddaughters, Brittany Green (Evan Patrick) of Jolo, WV, Abigail Rosenkrans of Roderfield, WV and Savannah Roberts of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Amara, McKenna and Madison Patrick of Jolo, WV; his siblings, Jackie Sparks (Patsy) of Paynesville, WV and Nancy Ann Shirley (Leonard) of Iaeger; and his close friend Gregory Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
