He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Brumfield and Fleety Brumfield; his wife Dorothy Marie Brumfield; his son Terry Allen Brumfield; his sister Juanita Cook; his granddaughter Melissa Workman; and his sisters, Gladys Jeffrey and Shirley Jarrett (Jack).
He is survived by: his brother Alvin Lowell Brumfield; and his children, James Brumfield, Billy Brumfield, Debbie Mullins (Robert), Donna Workman, Dale Brumfield (Laura) and Brenda Tackett (Ricky). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
