He is survived by: his wife Grace L. Goad Preece; his children, William K. Preece (Audrey) of Fredrick, MD and Patricia Preston (Anthony) of Leesburg, VA; his grandson Grant Preston; and his sisters, Lynda Fields of Georgia and Dottie Cecil of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
