He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Wimpy" Hicks and Patty Bean Hicks; his wife Susan Ann Walker Hicks of Jane Lew; his daughters, Laura Anderson (Todd Fisher) of Weston, Renee Way of Clarksburg, Tiffany Wine (Tim) of Barrackville and Bretta Strader (John IV) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Aidan, Molly Anderson, Emily, Megan Way, Taylor, Ethan Wine and Johnny Strader V; and his brothers, William Hicks (Sheila) of Jane Lew and David Hicks (Tammy) of Clearwater, FL.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Real Life Church (385 Mid Ave, Weston, WV 26452). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
