He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Eugene Hicks; and his brother Larry Lee Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Liz" Jane Bleigh Hicks of Jane Lew; his sisters, Terry Clingerman of Volga, WV and Therese Hicks of Jane Lew; his nephews, Joshua Hicks of Jane Lew and James Fogg (Julia) of Crawford, WV; and his great-nieces, Paige of Crawford and Courtney Fogg of Crawford.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
