Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Nelson and Dorothea "Dot" Margaret McMichael Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth "Arlene" Cayton Nelson of Jane Lew; his son Christopher Nelson (Amy); his granddaughter Makayla Nelson; and his siblings, Michael Nelson, William Nelson (LuAnne) and Aileen Catore (Joseph). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
