Richard Sturm Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Sturm of Jane Lew, West Virginia, born in Grantsville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Sturm and Leah Brannon Sturm; and his wife Carolyn Sturm. He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Gherke and Carolyn Hatfield; his children, Lisa Sturm, Pam Ware (Denver) and Craig Sturm; his grandchildren, Kevin Ware (Mary), Todd Ware (Janna), Josie Bush (Larry), Thomas Guy (Katie), Caitlyn Sturm and Erica Stalnaker (Craig); his great grandchildren, Michael Simons Jr., Miranda Smith (Kent), Cameron, Clay, Collin Ware, Trenton, Landon, Braxton Bush and Presley Stalnaker; and his great great grandchildren, Chad Simons and Jolee Smith.
