With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randall Dean Shaffer of Jane Lew, West Virginia, born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Shaffer and Garnet Knight Shaffer; his great grandchild Ashton Matheny; and his siblings, Dottie, Betty, Lee, Connie, Jessie, Richard, Terry and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Mae Richards Shaffer of Jane Lew; his children, Brian Shaffer (Laura) of Jane Lew, Sonyia Sartin (William) of Jane Lew and David Shaffer (Janice) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, B. K., Corey, Brett, Justin, Spencer, Trent, Austin, Kaitlyn, Brandon and Brianna; his great grandchildren, Easton, Clayton, Kaiden, Brayden, Wrenley, Kohen, Cameron, Beau, Gracelynn, Arabella and Kinslee; and his siblings, Jackie Strother (Leon) of Clarksburg, Ronnie Shaffer of Jarvisville, Judy Wilson (Jerry) of Salem, Kenny Shaffer (Jeanie) of Fairmont, Retha Jolley (Greg) of Salem and Chic Johnson (Mike) of Warren, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
