He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Ray Posey and Martha Elizabeth Brinkley Posey; his wife Anneita Lorraine Jenkins Posey; his granddaughter Brittney Nicole Posey; and his brother Russell Posey.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Leone of Wintersville, OH, David Posey (Margaret) of Roanoke, Linda Goldsmith of Roanoke, Kenny Posey (Vicki) of Canal Winchester, OH and Steven Posey (Shelley) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Eric Posey, Danica Koncoski (Joe), Stephanie Wolverton (Lee), Barbara Posey, Krista Posey, Elaina Massey (Shane), Steven Lee Goldsmith, Benjamin Leone and Brandon Posey (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Makayla Posey, Michael Bryant, Cameron, Abagale Abell, Julia, Paxton Koncoski, Garett Wolverton, Callen Massey, Jamari and Raylynn Moore.
