Hitt of Jane Lew, West Virginia, born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence C. Durigg and Myrtle May Eikleberry; her husband James J. Hitt; her son Robert J. Hitt; and her siblings, Glenn, Paul Durigg and Norma Durigg Stedman.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Salvetti (Thomas) of Jane Lew, WV and Jonathan Hitt of Jane Lew, WV; her grandchildren, Kristin Hitt Tyndall (Rik) of Chapel Hill, NC, Wendy Hitt, Steven Salvetti of Rapid City, SD and David Salvetti (Kathryn) of Winchester, VA; and her great grandchildren, Rachel Salvetti, Ryan Tyndall, Evan, Liam and Claire Salvetti. She is also survived by many friends and family.
