He was predeceased by: his parent Betty Drake; his brothers, David and Raymond Shortridge; and his former wife Becky Drake. He is survived by: his wife Jaunita Elizabeth Suttle; his children, Drema Paugh (James) of Morgantown and Joshua Drake (Lisa) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Aiden, Aaron, Isaac and Madilyn; and his siblings, Danny Shortridge of Perryopolis, PA and Nancy Butcher (Jim) of Flora, MS..
