He is survived by: his wife Emma Jane Tenney Michaels; his son Kenneth Reese Michaels of Sand Run; his stepdaughter Melissa Mae Wamsley; and his siblings, William Michaels (Sue), Charles Henry Michaels (Betty), John Iden (Betty Jean Michaels) and Linda Louise Michaels Brown (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
