He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren B. Smith and Nina Grace Kramer Smith; his wife Alice F. Lemley; his son Warren Edward Smith; and his great grandchildren, Koen and Kerrigan Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Lantz (Donnie) of Lexington, KY and Wendy Stuart (Ted) of Parkersburg; his grandchildren, Kayla Golian (Karl), Kyndra McPhillips (Kyle), Kelsey Crawford (Ken) and Barrett Stuart; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Caroline Carr, Morgan McPhillips, Karsten, Kaspar Golian and Kallahan Crawford; his sister Wendy Herko (John); and his siblings-in-law, Judy McVicker (Jerry) and Charlie Lemley (Debbie).
