James Lester McCartney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lester McCartney (Jane Lew, West Virginia), born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ernest McCartney and Ruby Jane Newlin McCartney; his son James Patrick McCartney; his son-in-law Roger Lee Williams Jr.; his brothers, Gerald McCartney and Carrol Lyne McCartney; and his great grandchild Bentley James Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCartney; his children, Barbara McCartney, Catherine McCartney Rittenhouse (Chaz), Kimberly Sue McCartney Williams, Devon McCartney and Mollie McCartney Cecil (Kelly); his siblings, Danny McCartney (Karen), Christina Goldsmith and Beverly Brown (Rex); his grandson Zachery Watson; and his close friends, John McCarty and Mickey Scarff.
