He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward McKay and Ethelyn Beatrice McKay Whitter (Musser); his stepfathers, Chester H. Witter and Wilbert H. Balducci; his brothers, Homer E. (Gladys), Homers, Madalyn McKay (Winland), Denzil M. McKay (Opal), Hamilton, Robert J. (Ruth E.) and Chester L. McKay; his brother-in-law W. Bruce Sullivan; his parents-in-law, Charles and Ruby Eubank (Harper); his sister-in-law Shirley J. Eubank; and his uncle Carlton Musser (Germany).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rosalie Eubank; his children, Howard Steven McKay (Cathy) of Jane Lew and Karen Sue McKay Wilfong (Michael) of West Milford; his grandchildren, Trisha McKay Tenney Dunn of Jane Lew, Christina Wilfong Barnes (Jason) of Hubert, NC and Joshua Wilfong of Lost Creek; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Kayla Tenney, Preston, Hudson Barnes, Cohen and Avery Wilfong; his daughter Ramona McClung McKay of Kincheloe; his sister Mary L Whitter Sullivan of Newton Falls, OH; his siblings-in-law, Ida McKay of Warren, OH, Harold Eubank (Barbara) of Jane Lew, Mitchell Eubank, Mary and Doris Eubank of Braxton Co; his cousin Jewell Swiger Sponaugle; and his niece Barbara McKay Marsh (Howard) of Newton Falls, OH.
In lieu of flowers, Howard's family has requested donations be sent to Jane Lew Methodist Church, Broad Run Baptist Church, or WVU- Hospice.
