He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Henry Griffin and Erma Virginia Cutlip Griffin; and his siblings, James Richard Griffin, William Howard Griffin (Johnny) and Violet Lucille Thayer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia Ruth Brewster of Garrett, IN, Isabelle Louise Bushnell (Danny) of Sutton, WV, Janet Sue Given (Mark) of Springfield, MO and Pamella Annette Griffin-Gazitano (Victor) of Bedford, TX; and his close friends, Dr. Jim Huey, Mack, Thelma Samples, Megan, Luke McKnight and Harry Rich.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame (1427 Lee St E, Charleston, WV 25301).
