He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sara Jane Lasure; his wife Marilyn "Ruthie" Lasure; his children, Stephen G. Lasure Jr., Michael Dale Lasure and Christine Mavety; and his stepchildren, Jack Lee Barnette and Jerry Lee Greathouse Jr.. He was also cherished by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
