He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jasper Starkey and Fannie Starkey of Jacksonburg, WV.; his children, Connie Sue Starkey of Fairview and Michael Starkey (Julia) of Fairview; his daughters-in-law, Dorothy Greiger and Lela Florine Starkey; his grandsons, Roger Lee Starkey (Chrissy), Jody Starkey, Stephen Starkey (Missy) and Matthew Starkey (Carmen); his great grandchildren, Owen Nicholas Starkey, Christopher Boyd Starkey, Olivia Pearl Starkey and Emma Lewis; his stepgranddaughters, Cathy McCoy, Cindy Lowe, Bobbie Lewis and Heather Stevens; his wife Mary Pearl Parker Starkey; and his children, Roger Lee Starkey, Jeffrey Starkey and Tina Louise. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
