He was predeceased by: his wife Anitra Starcher (Cricket); his parents, Orval Starcher and Ota Starcher; his sisters, Vesta Arnold, Ruby Metheney and Elva May; his children, Robert Starcher and Debbie Ann Swift; and his granddaughter Malissa Swift.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nilma Nevans, Lydia Gay Parker (Charles) and Marlyn Starcher (Dot); his children, James Starcher (Joan) and Connie Medvetz (Gary); his grandchildren, Amy, Jeff Hotchkiss (Amanda), Joseph Presley Jr. (Jessica) and Jessica Swift; his great grandchildren, Brandon Starcher, Julie Romeo, Tyann Swift, Jordan Hotchkiss, Joseph Presley III, Lizabeth Swift, Audrey Carroll, Joslynn Presley, Anitra May and Julian Harris; and his great great grandchild Levi Tong. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.
