He was predeceased by: his parents, Okey Stanton Posey Sr. and Nina Marie Ratliff Posey; and his siblings, Letcher, Larry, Charles Posey and Bernice Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Posey of Ireland; his daughter Laura Brown (Mike) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Hannah, Addison and Hayden Brown; and his siblings, Bonnie Taylor (Pat) of Copley, Richard Posey of Orlando, John Posey (Marsha) of Walkersville and Mike Posey (Judy) of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
