He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Frankenberry and Louise Frankenberry; his brother Dick Frankenberry; and his in-laws, Harold, Betty Bealman, William "Bill" McDonald, Larry Meyers, Peggy Frankenberry Judd and Jena McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McDonald Frankenberry; his children, Jan Frankenberry Chancey (James) and Ryan Frankenberry (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Conner, Regan Chancey, Julia and Thatcher Frankenberry; his sister Nancy Meyers; his mother-in-law Peggy "June" McDonald; his siblings-in-law, Barbi, Denny Saturnino, Brenda, Carl Pruett, Barry McDonald and Bonnie McDonald; and his nieces and nephews, Todd Frankenberry (Joanna), Deb Frankenberry, Matthew Hilt, Megan Campbell (Tom), Lindsey Levinthal (Joseph), Brooke Shelton, Jamie McDonald, Haley McDonald Thompson (David), Ian McDonald and Johnathan Pruett.
