He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Wesley Kees and Ethel Wilt Kees of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee Clark Kees; his children, Steve L. Kees (Robin), Kathy Lynn May and Wendy D. Kees (Brian Scott); and his siblings, Harold, James Kees, Wanda McGowan and Debbie Myers. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
