She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Watson and Rose Mae Watson; her husbands, Gerald Summerson and Jesse James; and her children, Gerald Summerson and Gail Kouhout.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Holdridge (Kenneth) of Inwood, Donna Beamon (David) of Charlotte, NC, John Summerson (Diane) of Inwood, WV, Bradley Summerson (Alma) of Frazier's Bottom and Randy Summerson of Martinsburg. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
