He is survived by: his children, Karen Barry, Jan Myrick and Michael Burtt; his grandchildren, James Barry, III, Glendon Barry, Gillian McCarty and Christian Riddell; his siblings, Chester Burtt and Nancy Houck; and his former wife Ruth Burtt. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
