He is survived by: his parent Catherine Painter Vance; his wife Rose Marie "Rody" Morrison; his sons, James "Jamie" Vance (Rebecca) and Brent Vance; his grandchildren, Zachary Vance and Amanda Vance Giangola; his great grandchild Annalise Rose Giangola; and his sister Barbara Davey of Stephens City, VA.
