It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Butler of Inwood, West Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred H. Butler and Sophronia Balenger Butler; and his siblings, Fred Gold Butler, Anna Butler Crowell and Tommy Ray Butler.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Taylor Butler; his children, Karen Butler Vannoy, Tammy Butler Boyd (Scott), Joseph Todd Butler (Tari Jo) and Christie Butler Talbott (Rich); his grandchildren, Weslie Boyd Conner (Wes), Douglas Butler Vannoy (Liz), Rachel Boyd Maston (Scott), John Butler Boyd (Olivia McHale), Richard Butler Lewis (Louie), James William Talbott (Mikayla) and Jared Carlton Hoffman; and his great grandchildren, Boyd Maston, Brynn Maston, Aubrey Talbott and William Conner (Billy).
