She was predeceased by: her parents, John Runion and Nina Miller Runion; her former husband Richard Dick West; her husband George "Bill" Viands, Sr.; and her brothers, John, Jr., Roy and Paul Runion.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Joyce, Emly, Ronnie and Sabrina; and her children, Ninia West-Lichliter (Bill) of Inwood, George Viands, Jr. of Inwood, Wayne West (Mattie) of Charles Town and Jim West (Sue) of Harpers Ferry. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
