He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clay Shepherd and Garnet Louise Tomblin Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Milly Butler Shepherd; his son Brian Moreland; his grandsons, Shea Anthony Moreland (Brittany) and Tyler Clay Moreland; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Moreland and Wyatt J. Catlett.
