She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Knighten and Elsie Beavers Knighten; her siblings, Buck, William, Buddy Knighten, Betty DeVore, Martha Hopkins and Elsie Disert; and her stepson Michael DeHaven.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Eugene DeHaven; her sons, Michael Helmick, Sr. (Mary Jean) and Randal Helmick; her stepchildren, Karen M. Cupp (Bruce), Gerald and Brian DeHaven (Sherry); her grandchildren, Rhiannon Nicole Helmick (Irvin Hood III), Jennifer Renee Helmick, Michael Byron Helmick, Jr. (Lisa) and Matthew Scott Helmick (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Trey, Benjamin, Brianna, Kailee, Logan, Lillian, Landyn, Layla, Peyton and James; her great great grandchildren, Tyler, Easton, Rowan, Sutton, Wyatt and Wrenley; and her sisters, Helen Snyder and Patricia Potter. She is also survived by eight step grandchildren; a number of great great step grandchildren.
