It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Joe Sherfey of Inwood, West Virginia, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Claymon Sherfey and Flossie Pauline Doran Sherfey; his brother Wayne; and his grandsons, Drake and Jaxon.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas John Sherfey "T. J." (Channing) and Kimberly Sherfey (JD); his grandchildren, Madison, Paxton, Landon, Nadia and Jaidon; his great grandchild Paige; and his siblings, Jay, Donnie, Charles and Wanda.

He was an organ donor and donated his kidneys.
