She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo O'Rourke and Mildred Rockwell O'Rourke; and her sister Marge Clarke. She is survived by: her husband Richard Floyd "Dick" Myers; her children, John David Horner of Frederick, Jason E. Myers (Sabrina) of Inwood and Aimee M. Peters (Mark) of Inwood; her grandsons, Jason E. Myers II and Justin E. Myers; and also Patricia Dececca (Joseph) of Fredericksburg, Virginia..
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for all in attendance at the service to bring their favorite children's book. These books will be donated in memory of Cindy to a Berkeley County School Title I reading program classroom to serve as a reminder of her love and passion for educating young people.
