She was predeceased by: her parents, David Valentine Strider Milburn, Sr. and Patricia Ann Hull Miller; her son William "Boss" Scott Haines, II; and her grandson Kenneth Edward Newsom. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Gerver-Jackson (George), Brianna Haines-Gerver and Britney Haines-Gerver; her brother David "Butch" Valentine Strider Milburn, Jr.; and her grandsons, Dennis Ryan Gerver, Trey Lee Cook and Xavier Lee Cook (Mark Robert Gerver).
