He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnold and Lottie Pearl Brown; his wife Thelma Goins Brown; his siblings, Margaret Boyd and Johnny Mack Brown; his brother-in-law Otis Clevenger; his nephew Ricky Clevenger; and his niece Missy Long.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Bohin (David) of Bluefield, WV and Tammy Hunt of Iaeger; his grandson Hobert Michael Hunt (Adam Lilly) of Beaver, WV; his sisters, Barbara Clevenger of Iaeger, Nancy Jordan (Mike) of Bradshaw and Cathy Poplin (Gene) of Mocksville, NC; and his sister-in-law Leona Mae Willis of Cartersville, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
