She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Simpson and Virginia Simpson; her husband Carl Vanover; and her brothers, Harry, Tommy Joe and Roger.
She is survived by: her son Rick (Tara Vanover) of Hanover, WV; her grandchildren, Veronica Riley (David Tilley) of High Point, NC, Taylor Grimmett (Tristan Evans) of Huntington, WV and Tanner Grimmett (Kathleen) of Farragut, TN; her great grandchildren, Kennah Riley, Willow-Jayne Tilley, Salem Evans and Cali Evans; her pet Stormi; her brother David Simpson of Justice, WV; her sister-in-law Delena Vanover of Hanover, WV; and her brother Arnold. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
