She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Trent and Allilea Steele Trent; and her grandparents, David, Virginia Steele, Dewey and Rebecca Trent.

She is survived by: her daughter Taylor Trent (Kris Abrams); her grandchildren, Kyrie Abrams and Kobie Abrams; and her sisters, Angie Reynolds of Bluefield, VA, Myra Lester and Russell of Iaeger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
