It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Fain (Iaeger, West Virginia), born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Fain and Virginia Dalton Fain Potter; his son Michael Jeremy Fain; his brother Samuel Kenneth Fain; and his nephew Mark Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Effie Alice Bailey; his children, Joshua Edward Fain (Amanda) of Oceana, WV and Jessica Fain Hofmann (Steven) of Huntersville, NC; his stepchildren, Linda Bailey Blankenship (Brian) of Panther, WV, Marchel Bailey Hurley (Joe) of Panther, WV and Marcus Bailey (Merideth) of Wytheville, VA; and his siblings, Diane Fain Ratliff (Tommy) of Paynesville, WV, Kim Fain Lester (Clarence) of Grundy, VA, Crystal Fain Yount (Harold) of Statesville, NC, Samantha Fain Hardy (Jake) of Dobson, NC and Joel Fain (Christy) of Limestone, TN.. He is also survived by Nine Grandkids and Nine Great Grandkids.
