He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Vanover Reed; his son Brandon Ray Reed; his grandson Chandler Marushia; and his brother Ronnie Reed. He is survived by: his father Hobert Reed of Iaeger; his wife Angie Reed; his children, Jimmy Reed (Ashley) of Clear Fork, WV, Christina Marushia (Jeremy) of Pineville, WV, Joshua Reed of Rockhouse, WV and Kayla Grizzel of Indiana; his grandchildren, Aalyiah McCoy, Karli McCoy, Noah Jay Reed, Conner Marushia, Charleigh Marushia, Carson Marushia, Alexis Weed, Morrison McCoy and Kaylee Powers; his brothers, Frankie Reed (Sandra) of Bradshaw, WV, Ricky Reed (Robin) of Bull Creek, WV and Tracy Reed (Jennifer) of Statesville, NC; and his close friend Bonnie Salyers of Iaeger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
