It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glennis Gaye Bailey of Iaeger, West Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Kennedy and Maggie Kennedy of Horsecreek; her husband Carl Lee Bailey Sr.; her brother Mansford Kennedy of Horsecreek; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Smith of Panther, Yvonne Bailey of Iaeger, Dolly Kennedy of Horsecreek, Frank McCoy of Iaeger, Henry Coleman of Childersburg, AL and Brooks Bailey of Cubcreek.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Short (Loretta Lester), Lee (Sheila Bailey) and Leshia (David Ratliff); her grandchildren, Summer, John Garlic of Iaeger, Brooke Ratliff of Iaeger, Trey Bailey (Kandice Pruitt) of Horsecreek, Bryson and Sophie Garlic of Iaeger; her siblings, Darele, Barbara Kennedy of Hurricane, WV, Darlene, Charles Hooker of Fredricksburg, VA, Irma McCoy of Iaeger, Maxine Coleman of Childersburg, AL and Bonnie Campbell of Princeton; her niece Fran Rowe of Beckley; her caregiver Armedia King; her pet Heidi; and her grandchildren, Danny, Heather Honosky, Bernie, Sarah Maynard, Stacie Kennedy, Hannah Smallwood, Addison Honosky, Paisley, Grayson Maynard, Luke Mullins and Brayden Smallwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
