It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Phillips (Iaeger, West Virginia), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Roberts and Mary Francis Collins Roberts of Panther; her husband Robert Burlin Phillips; and her siblings, Halsey Roberts Sr., Adam Roberts, Maggie Kennedy, Mabel Roberts, Vernie Steele, Dorothy Roberts, Elois Roberts and Eleanor Donithan.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Morgan (Densel) of Welch, WV and Robert Gale Phillips (Susie Owens) of Iaeger, WV; and her grandchildren, Chad Caskey, Bryan Caskey, Nicole Phillips and Jessica Phillips. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
